Counselling

An Inner-Heart Counselling session assists in clearing what is in the way of you knowing who you are and therefore creating an opportunity for you to RE-connect to you. Imagine living everyday knowing who you are...instead of living from ideals and beliefs of how you should be and or from destructive emotions. Living by the impulse of knowing who you are allows you to be in the world but not be affected by it. You can live rather than exist. Sounds amazing, doesn't it?

So why is it that you aren’t living in this way?  What is stopping you living each day from your inner-most?  There are too many things to name them all here but some examples are:- childhood hurt and pain; anger; self-abandonment; abuse; self-doubt; depression; anxiety; ideals and beliefs...the list goes on.

These are all indications that you are not living from your inner-most - your inner-heart. So if you are not living impulsed from your inner-heart, where are you living from?  Could it be that you are letting the anxiety run your life or the undealt with hurt and pain experienced in childhood or the unresolved anger or maybe the stress of living up to ideals and beliefs and ways of being that aren't right for you, run it?  Could it be that you are not even aware of the source of disharmony?  It is your responsibility to know.

It is for all of us to re-learn how to stay in touch with ourselves, to breathe our own breath, to say ‘enough’ to consistently living in a disharmonious way, to living in a way that is affecting our health and well-being.

So where do you start?  You start with self-honesty.  By being in self-honesty you can begin to change the disharmony in your life.

An Inner-Heart Counselling session supports in the discarding of what is not you (anxiety etc) so you can get to know who you truly are (RE-connect to your inner-heart/inner-most).  The basis of a session is supportive not sympathetic, gentle yet firm, powerful not forceful.  All essential ingredients to hold you in self-honesty so you can truly heal and discover the truth of who you are - so you can live in harmony - consistently so.

“Before truth can be known there must first be self-honesty.”
